Message: THE PREEMIES ARE HERE! And curiously, the babies seem to have names resembling a few of our past Funny Farm Kids. Is one of our preemies named after your Funny Farm Alum? Check out our bunch of pint-sized community helpers as they work to help the "babies born too soon" in our Funny Farm NICU.

Message: April is National Poetry Month and to celebrate, Funny Farm ELC held a poetry contest as a joint effort between parents and kids to come up with the best poem about "The Things I Like the Most About Funny Farm" We're pleased to announce this year's winning poem is by Alice with help from a family friend titled "Let me tell you about Funny Farm." Thanks to everyone for participating in this early literacy exercise. And now this year's winning poem… Let me tell you about Funny Farm and what we DO! First meet Teacher Marcy. Her favorite color is BLUE! Next is Teacher Laura. She likes GREEN! They show us to be kind and never MEAN! Sometimes I like The Farm more than my own HOUSE! Like when I'm learning math from the ABC MOUSE! We just learned about babies in the NICU And how to change a diaper. PEE YEW! We also learn how to be brave, kind and SMART! My favorite thing is finding a library book off the CART! Now Spot, tuck your tail into your PANTS! Because it's Friday and time to DANCE!

Message: Did you know kids LOVE to use real tools? It is so good for their hand/eye coordination! Plus, they really like to imitate thing adults do. Mrs. Carrie was even asked if there were any cars to work on using the tools 🤣 This is a board with holes drilled in it that kids can put different sized screws/washers/bolts in using a screwdriver and wrench. It was a huge hit in the classroom!
