Tomorrow may be April 1st, but we’re still not done celebrating Women’s History Month which is why we’re happy to announce our new Director of Sales – Western Division, Vanessa Boyd Goldenson!
Born and raised in Cape Town, South Africa, Vanessa fell in love with wine while traveling the US and working at a small deli and wine shop in Maryland in. Vanessa joins our team after years of experience in wine sales with many reputable distributors. Based in Los Angeles, Vanessa brings an advanced knowledge of the wine industry and will be an integral part of our team.
As the weather warms up, Vanessa says her favorite Amici wine is the Sauvignon Blanc. She says it’s a “crisp, refreshing and mouthwatering wine that is the perfect aperitif at the end of a long day.” When Vanessa isn’t drinking Amici Sauvignon Blanc, you may find her with a glass of her favorite South African drink – Roses lime cordial with sparkling water (and a little vodka as needed).

🍃Is a ‘sense of place’ worth more $$?
🍇Single-vineyard wines intend to show off premier sites and a Pinot Noir is considered the grape to express this concept the most.
🍷Thanks to the help of @dierberg_starlane , @stollerwine , and @saintsburywinery I put this to the test, blind tasting estate Pinot Noirs vs their Single-Vineyard counterparts.
