Family winemaker John Bambury is the grandson of Catherine Bonneau who formulated the idea of a vineyard on the familyβs farmland in Sonoma & the magic was born!
β’
John took on all winemaking operations on behalf of the family business in 2000. His inaugural release of the 2002 Bonneau Los Carneros Chardonnay has led to more than a dozen widely acclaimed vintages in the growing array of varietals and styles- all of them carefully handcrafted by John and his team.
β’
Today, John is still at the helm of his boutique family operation. When heβs not in the vineyards, John can be found in the cellar working the magic that comes from a legacy of generations of growers and successful vintages in Sonoma and beyond.

John and his wife Marie have been actively building the Bambury wine collection since 2000 To complete the family circle, they also brought in Johnβs sons Eric and Nick-both experts in customized high volume data processing and fulfillment.
