The 2017 will be the final vintage of John Anthony Oak Knoll District Cabernet Sauvignon as we prepare to release several single-vineyard cabernet sauvignons from this stunning Napa Valley sub-AVA in the 2018 vintage. Experience this rich, balanced and beautifully-integrated wine in its final release.

Message: We are proud to be a Napa Green certified winery. Our expansive gardens are predominantly planted to native drought-resistant flowers that attract pollinators of all kinds. Often, you’ll be sharing your visit to the winery with hummingbirds, moths, butterflies, ladybugs and a handful of different species of bees. There is no doubt they are happy to bee *pun intended* keeping our estate buzzing with activity!

Message: The wait is over! Premiere Napa Valley has officially kicked off and we couldn't be more excited to share our lot of 2019 The Lark Ascending. This tiny (only 60 bottles!) bottling is sourced from 100% Clone 337 Cabernet from our A5 West block – the same block that produces The Lark each vintage. This promises to be one of the most powerful and distinct bottlings from a sandy loam section of our vineyard completely surrounded by 30 acres of gravel. Cheers to #PNV21! Message: VGS Chateau Potelle was just featured in 7×7’s article: 8 Napa Valley Wine Tasting Rooms That Serve a Solid, Delicious Lunch Check it out… https://www.7× If it's romance you're after, book VGS Chateau Potelle's Epicurean Garden Lunch ($225). Leisurely nom through a five-course lunch prepared by chef Ken Frank (of Michelin-starred La Toque) and designed to pair with VGS wines from the VGS Tasting House's outdoor garden. The seasonal menu changes often, but your lunch will kick off with rosé and a starter (think smoked salmon rillettes), followed by a glass of pineapple-rich sauvignon blanc and possibly chef's famous chopped salad, made of roughly 15 ingredients. As you head into the reds, the main course might bring grilled lamb or a slow-roasted shaved pork loin. Finish with an artisanal cheese plate and dessert. PS: VGS stands for Very Good Sh!t, and this lunch is just that. By appointment, 1200 Dowdell Lane (St. Helena). #vgschateaupotelle #vgspotelle #fourmeauxwines #vgshappens #napawine
